CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 2026
The Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of National Hunt racing, four days of world-class competition and an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of the Cotswolds. For French racing enthusiasts, we are offering an exclusive 3 or 5-night package to experience the Festival first-hand.

TUESDAY - CHAMPION DAY

CHAMPION DAY
The 2026 Cheltenham Festival opens with the famous roar for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, the curtain-raiser that so often launches the careers of future stars. Next comes the Arkle Novices’ Chase, steeped in history and renowned for producing elite two-mile chasers. The day’s feature is the Unibet Champion Hurdle, the pinnacle for hurdlers, where speed and jumping accuracy are tested to the limit over two miles.

WEDNESDAY - LADIES DAY

LADIES DAY
Day two centres around the Queen Mother Champion Chase, one of the week’s fastest and most thrilling contests, where the top two-milers clash at a relentless pace. Earlier, the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase over three miles provides the big staying test for novice chasers, often pointing the way to future Gold Cup contenders.

THURSDAY - ST PATRICK'S THURSDAY

St Patrick’s Thursday
The third day carries a strong Irish flavour and delivers two major championship races. The Turners Novices’ Chase opens proceedings at the top level before the spotlight shifts to the Ryanair Chase, a Grade 1 over 2m4f that has grown into a Festival highlight. The feature Stayers’ Hurdle follows - the ultimate three-mile test of stamina for hurdlers, which has produced many fan-favourite champions down the years.

FRIDAY - GOLD CUP DAY

Gold Cup Day
The Festival reaches its crescendo with the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup, the race every owner, trainer, and jockey dreams of winning. It demands the perfect blend of stamina, class, and jumping ability, and in 2026 the sport’s ultimate crown is once again up for grabs. In 2025, Galopin Des Champs lost his crown to the Gavin Cromwell-trained Iknowthewayurthinkin, who relished the searching test, but the stage is set for another fascinating renewal in 2026.
