Jimmy Wallace joined the Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) team as the new Executive Director of Royal Windsor Racecourse at the beginning of January shortly before the inaugural Berkshire Winter Million weekend held at the racecourse.

Jimmy has a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the Sport and Leisure sector both in the UK and Asia primarily across golf and rugby, as well as the London Olympic Games in 2012. For the last 11 years he has been at the helm at Richmond Athletic Ground, the home of Richmond Rugby and London Scottish RFC, and host to a variety of multi-sport and large-scale corporate events.

In his new role, Jimmy will lead the strategic direction of Royal Windsor Racecourse, focusing on enhancing its operations and commercial appeal, expanding audience engagement, driving memberships and continuing its tradition of delivering exceptional racing, hospitality and entertainment experiences. He will work closely with the racecourse’s management team, key stakeholders and partners to further elevate the venue's status as one of the UK’s premier racecourses.

Jimmy Wallace commented:

“This is truly a great honour and real privilege to be appointed as Executive Director at such an iconic racecourse as Royal Windsor. I am thrilled to be joining the ARC team at such an exciting time with the return of Jumps racing to Windsor after a 20 year gap following the recent Berkshire Winter Million Festival. Looking ahead, I am fully focused on working closely with the Windsor and wider ARC teams to drive the business forward and put Monday Night Racing at Windsor at the forefront of the summer sporting calendar.”

A total of 26 fixtures will take place at Royal Windsor in 2025, which started with Jumps Racing at the Berkshire Winter Million in January and then the Flat season commences in April and runs until September and will see the return of popular Monday Night Racing, Family Fun Days and the Summer Saturdays series.
