Our exclusive package offers the perfect balance! You will enjoy top class action at Hipódromo de San Sebastián, one of the most picturesque racecourses in Europe, where we will be witnessing the Spanish Gold Cup (Copa de Oro) whilst soaking up everything that makes the Basque Country so special.
We will be staying in the 4* Barcelo Costa Vasca, just a short stroll from the beach and within easy reach of the beautiful promenade leading into the heart of the city. COpa de oro (SPANISH GOLD CUP)
ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Copa de Oro, or San Sebastián Gold Cup, is the biggest race of the year in Spain and the highlight of the summer season at Hipódromo de San Sebastián. Run over 2,400 metres, it attracts some of the best horses from across Spain and France, all competing for one of the most prestigious prizes in Spanish racing.
The race always takes place in mid-August, right in the middle of Semana Grande, when the whole city comes alive with music, food and celebration. It’s a brilliant atmosphere, the racecourse itself is tucked away in a beautiful green valley, with the mountains on one side and the sea breeze drifting in from the coast. We cannot wait to be a part of the action and take you along with us in August 2026!

A great weekend!
Had a great weekend attending The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, staying in Chantilly.
Everything was very well organised, from arranging flights and airport transfer, to a lovely group meal on the Saturday, giving you an opportunity to meet others on the trip. Looking forward to next year's trip.

Arc Weekend
We were very difficult in wanting to do things that did not totally fit in with the norm. We were attracted to the tour by the fact it was based in Chantilly, not some soulless high rise hotel in a Paris suburb. Marc could not have been more helpful and accommodating in making sure everything worked smoothly for us. Everything worked like clockwork and we had a brilliant weekend, great racing as well as other interesting things organised. Marc and Neil were well informed and good company, and were always available for help and advice without being intrusive.

Very skilled in tailoring the experience.
Our first guided tour of any description (being averse to any set itinerary and having the spirit of a cat, like a caged Lion…😁). However Marc was an excellent herder of cats!
Very skilful in tailoring the experience to the individual; we did our own thing but was always kept in the loop and joined the group and events as we wanted. And when Gatwick threw a curveball by cancelling a bunch of flights, Marc and the team juggled all the chaos like pros. Hats off to them - it was purr-fectly handled! Thanks guys loved it.
