The opening race saw Old Park Star storm to victory in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, setting the tone for an exciting day of racing. The feature race, the Champion Hurdle, was dominated by Lossiemouth, who produced a sensational performance to win convincingly and confirm her place among the festival’s elite performers.
By Wednesday, more guests had joined, all fully immersed in the festival atmosphere. Ladies Day offered not only exceptional racing but also a vibrant social occasion. The Queen Mother Champion Chase delivered a standout moment, with II Etait Temps showcasing speed and precision over the fences to claim an impressive victory. Earlier on the card, The Mourne Rambler added to the day’s excitement by taking the Champion Bumper, giving guests plenty to celebrate throughout the afternoon.
Thursday brought a celebratory feel with St Patrick’s Thursday, as Irish runners and supporters added to the electric atmosphere. The racing once again delivered thrilling moments, with standout performances across the card keeping guests engaged from start to finish. The energy carried on well into the evening, with guests enjoying Cheltenham’s lively restaurants, bars and post-racing celebrations.
Friday, Gold Cup Day, the pinnacle of the festival and one of the most anticipated events in horse racing. The excitement was palpable from the moment guests arrived at the racecourse. The Cheltenham Gold Cup delivered a race to remember, with Gaelic Warrior producing a dominant display to win convincingly, surging clear up the famous hill in front of a roaring crowd. It was a fitting finale to a week of exceptional racing and unforgettable moments.

As the festival drew to a close, the celebrations continued as guests reflected on an extraordinary week. Stories were shared, bets were celebrated, and the atmosphere remained as lively as ever.
