Went into property sales, where I stayed for 6 years
Had a keen interest in racing from the age of 16 and decided to get into racing by taking a sales role at Newbury Racecourse
Whilst at Newbury, I developed a relationship with the grounds team to develop turf knowledge and race management
I did work experience and shadowing days outside of my normal role at Newbury Racecourse
Applied and successfully got the job at Brighton Racecourse as Trainee Clerk of the Course in January 2024
Completed my training programme and I am now the fully accredited Clerk of the Course at Brighton Racecourse in February 2025.
