It's been extremely busy here and we begin with saying a farewell to a course legend, Rockley Point, who retired after his final run on March 26th. Katie Scott's 12 year old was a true supporter, running 72 times here which was 47% of his careers runs! He finished in the places 56 times including 9 wins and it's fair to say he has deserved his retirement! Thank you, Rockley Point.

We also celebrated 35 years of service with our Head Groundsman, Mark Ryan. Mark is a key part of the team and his hard work and dedication is the reason it all runs so smoothly! Thank you, Mark, for everything that you do!

Most recently, we saw an INCREDIBLE All-Weather Finals Day. A day full of twists and turns, nobody could have prepared for the result in the BetMGM Fillies' And Mares' Championship Mares' Handicap. Heavenly Heather ran out a 200/1 winner, springing an almighty surprise for Tracy Waggot but when asked to pick up and win her race, she duly obliged and sprinted to the line. For her delighted owners, who live locally in Heddon on The Wall, it was a momentous occasion so well done team!

Finals Day is also where we crowned our Champions. Godolphin picked up the Owners title, Billy Loughnane became the 2025 All-Weather Champion Jockey, Jack Doughty claimed the Champion Apprentice title and Tony Carroll won the Trainers title.
