There’s been plenty going on behind the scenes during the off-season to ensure everything is in top shape ahead of the new season. Our incredible ground staff team have been working tirelessly over the past few months to get the track into the best possible condition. Come rain or shine, they’ve put in the hard yards to make sure our surface is race-ready and have also been helping out at other nearby ARC racecourses so thank you!

Off the track, we’ve also kept busy with some brilliant member events. A group of our annual members recently enjoyed a visit to Urloxhey Stables, the base of Grand National-winning trainer Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole. It was a fantastic opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at a successful National Hunt yard, meet the horses, and hear first-hand how the team prepare for big days. Our very own Bryony Harris was even riding out and a huge thank you to Dan Abraham, Dr Richard and Jamie for allowing us to visit!
